#Engage, Energize, & Educate
March 20th
Hello Families,
Thank you for a very successful Fifth Grade Pasta Dinner on Wednesday evening. The families and guests enjoyed this event. We appreciate all of our volunteers and the Fifth Grade Committee for organizing this annual event.
Also, a HUGE thank you to Mrs. MJ and the Unified Committee for another terrific Respect Week at PVES. Respect Week is a yearly tradition at Pleasant View that highlights inclusion and promotes respect for all differences amongst our diverse school with a focus on intellectual disabilities. Classrooms had many opportunities to take part in various “respect activities” throughout the week.
A Message from Mrs. Clapprood
Now that all of our students in grades 3-5 have completed their STEM projects in the library, it is time for our K-2 students to begin their projects! Therefore, we are in need of some more recycled materials. This time, we are requesting smaller sized boxes such as cereal, tissue and shoe boxes or any boxes of that size. We would also still appreciate paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls. We no longer need any plastic of any kind! We so appreciate your help with this and have put so much of your donated recycled items to good use! Thank you.
A Message from Farmer Stacie Nichols
Yesterday I got all the maple taps in at the schools. Pleasant View is behind the field near the playground. There's a large white bucket and an information sheet out there. Sap was flowing yesterday and should be today as well. Please let teachers and families know students can go observe the tubes to watch the sap.
I will be pulling taps and buckets Saturday for the maple sap boil at Revive the Roots.
Enjoy!
